They're not the cheapest in town and definitely not the most expensive, but they are completely honest and straightforward. They always go over exactly what's wrong and why and are happy to discuss priority order of repairs. I refer everyone I know to North Eugene Automotive because Brian and his crew are excellent at diagnosing and getting to the bottom of the problem.

Seemed a little defensive. I have a bad head gasket. The shop doesn' t take estimates from other shops. Estimate is reasonable, comparatively- speaking. I am up to $238.00, shop labor and 4 sparkplugs. Running compression tests. I guess I will see. Already spent $260. 3rd time a charm?

Great mechanic Reasonable price

The few times I've "shopped around", Brian's estimates have been much more reasonable, and the work gets done well! Very highly recommended.

Happy with all the work so far. I had a radiator replaced, an oil change and some other work. I didn’t care for the way they billed me. 19.95 for oil change + 8.13 oil filter + 17.90 for conventional oil, totaling $45.98. I personally wouldn’t bill it like a 19.95 oil change, these being the total charges 45.98. Just for the oil change portion of my bill. But the service was good and they took care of things I asked for.

Reasonable rates, service writer (Kasey) knows about vehicle mechanical and electrical systems and is able to explain any repairs that may be needed. Also, owner Brian Slater is a good, honest, and up standing man. I have taken my personal vehicles to North Eugene Automotive (they recently worked on my wife's Ford Escape). This is a good, trustworthy shop. Brian also sells cars. In addition to newer model cars, he also has some cool older vehicles ('60s and '70s) as well as former police intercept cars!

They did an absolute fantastic job adjusting the carb and timing on my van, it now runs like a top! Very professional and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning in the future for all my classic vehicle needs.
